Reduced rate for church and school fuel space: The school and church will have a reduced rate for fuel space of $2 per gallon. Any future instances will be decided on a case by case basis. This procedure will be included in the procedures guidebook Jake is writing.

Update on Power and Fuel Delivery: The power plant transfer is complete and has been successful. We will have more specific numbers to compare next month. The fuel nozzle for fuel deliveries has been delivered and Clayton will buy the additional parts needed. Jake will reach out to Emily Dillon regarding fuel delivery insurance. Jake will also loop Nat in on the discussion regarding insurance. Jake will check with Andy whether fuel was delivered to Josh and Robin Ames.

Update on how the new admin is doing: Jake is settling into the role well and will set up specific office hours soon.

Ramp and Float update: Clayton and Laurie have one final form to submit to FlyCatcher and will submit it this week. Once this is complete we can move forward.

Heat pumps and Electricity for Quonset hut: Peggy has Peter Griffin coming to the island to do electrical work this fall and Peter might be available to also wire circuit breaker for quonset hut. Clayton will get the dimensions of the quonset hut and Laurie will send them to Garrett to see if he is available to do the job. Gabe and Jake will speak on Thursday regarding possible Efficiency Maine grants for quonset hut.

Truck lease for Power Company: Jake will look into the possibility of truck lease for the power company. The truck must pull 10,000lbs on the trailer, not 5th wheel and possibly be used for plowing.  Jake will check with local dealerships and see what options are available. Jake will ask Phil about the possibility of charging infrastructure on the island. Discussed putting out a notice informing the public not to bring electric vehicles to the island since they cannot be charged.

List of Abandoned Vehicles: A list of abandoned vehicles is needed. Jake will put a notice on the website and Dorian will put one on the facebook pages. Jake will draft a newsletter and include this notice on the newsletter. Peggy will mention the notice at the MIDC meeting. Abandoned vehicles need to be checked for leaks. List of abandoned vehicles needs to be cross checked with Nick’s list of abandoned vehicles. Peggy suggested getting one abandoned vehicle off on the ferry anytime there is space.

Generator for Sale: Ellen will reach out to Billings and speak with the contact there who potentially knows an interested buyer. Jake will call the manufacturer and inquire about secondhand prices.

Airport Sale Update: Currently at a standstill. Bring Nat back into the conversation. Jake and Gabe will discuss the possibility of grants.

Town office grants for historical buildings: Jake will look into the possibility of 3 types of grants: Historical preservation grants, weatherization grants, and the Stephen King Foundation grants. Jake will also get more information on registering the town office with the national register of historic places. The type of repairs needed is structural as well as insulation.

Rental Space for fuel: The town will not deliver fuel if a resident has not paid their bill. The residents can still come and get their fuel themselves but there will be no delivery until the bill is paid.

Fire Safety Signs: Peggy has printed 4 signs for promoting fire safety and will ask permission to post them at the airport, beaches, and dock. Thank you Peggy!
